I'm a transgender woman living in San Francisco, CA.  Believe it or not, Life Coach is my job title.  Professionally (I get paid for it) I help mentally ill people achieve their career aspirations.  I'm involved, as a volunteer, in assisting senior and disabled people find affordable housing in my over priced hometown.

Before my Beatification, I was a fixed-income securities trader and stockbroker. Of course, financial services followed my earlier stint helping large corporations (including tobacco companies) avoid liability for the bad things they had done.  Why the switch from the Empire to the Alliance? I'll have to write a book about that.

I'm probably the most unlikely of Zaadsters.  I have a dark perspective of the world and can be quite sarcastic at times.  Joanna's Theory of History:  It's about the money.  All wars and conflict are about money.   Politicians  and leaders may say it's about  freedom or democracy but trust me, it's about the money.

While I'm pessimistic on a global or cultural level  I do have hope for each of us as individuals.  “Till your own garden” was the conclusion of Voltaire in the final pages of Candide, his brilliant, satirical novel.  We can each of us live in ways that leave a small footprint on the Earth.  We can each practice kindness and compassion in our lives and our relations with others.  Perhaps they will follow our example.

Spiritually I'm Pagan,   I reject the Abrahamic religions completely and look to my own Celtic and Teutonic origins for spiritual light.   I embrace Western Civilization, warts and all.  It is from whence I came and where I live my life.  I believe in the unity of all things.   We are connected  not just to all  living things but the rocks, the whole of Gaia, and the universe  as well.  The glue that binds us is The Goddess.
